Memorials, Gifts and Donations
Mr. and Mrs. William Hart donated 13 boxes of books to the book sale. This
donation included some really outstanding Texas material. The folks at St. James Episcopal School donated six pick-up loads of books.
These books had been collected for a spring book sale by the school;
however, their plans fell through and they had to dispose of the books. The
books were collected by seventeen Boy Scout troops in the Longhorn District
of the Capital Area Council: Troops 1, 9, 11, 17, 33, 48, 49, 70, 410, 415,
444, 454, 511, 990, 1407, and 399. The Austin Fire Department and Randall's
supported them in this venture. A special thanks goes to Roxann Boyucka who
was kind enough to think of us. We picked up approximately 10,000 books from
this donation.
