About the University Hills Neighborhood Association
- For over 30 years, UHNA members have given countless hours to maintain and improve the quality of life in the neighborhood.
- UHNA's area contains approximately 1500 homes which are represented by a total of 9 Area Representatives which serve on the UHNA Executive Committee.
- UHNA has worked to protect Little Walnut Creek, a beautiful natural asset of the neighborhood.
- Dottie Jordan Park and Recreation Center belongs to the University Hills Neighborhood because residents went to court and won the fight against a plan to build condos on this beautiful property. Read more about how the crisis was overcome in the 1974 article from the Austin American-Statesman.
