What we can learn about family security

A meeting was held Sunday, October 26, 2003 at 2 p.m., as a special neighborhood group meeting held at the Johnson's. The purpose of that meeting was to get ideas from members of the neighborhood as reinforcement for broad participation as key theme for the meeting.  Check out neighborhood flyer to view notes on this meeting.

Tuesday, August 2nd 2005, our neighborhood celebrated National Night Out (NNO). Block Parties included:
Three Separate Block Parties were held in the neighborhood. The Party locations were: the Pat and Nancy Defoor residence at 900 North Bend Drive; the Dale and Greta Sellers residence at 1106 Gemini; and the Walt Esquivel residence at 1006 Huntridge. The block parties included hot dogs and refreshments, and all had a good time.
The Sellers group numbered about 30, Defoor's group numbered 32, and Walt Esquivel had about the same. We may have reached close to a hundred household members attending this year's NNO at these three locations and all had a good time. We also were pleased that two policemen visited our gatherings

Please read Incidents report June 2005 as it includes recent reported suspicious activities in neighborhood and contains the neighborhood APD Officer. The report is prepared in pdf format for ease of printing. You can also read this report in Neighborhood forum incident report ( Officer Kay Vargas telephone number is 974-5722)

Check out NNO 8/2/05 photos  for viewing photos of NNO at the Sellers' place. Also included with this album are photos of entrance signs as of August 17, 2005.
