![]() In the tradition of the old barn raising parties of years gone by, web raising events bring together a combination of the best and the brightest with the new and eager to develop documents for publishing on MAIN's Web service. When the call goes out, many of the highest paid, best known Internet developers give of their time and expertise to MAIN and our community. We partner new, less experienced, volunteers with seasoned veterans and spend a day developing materials for publishing on MAIN. This is a great way to learn from the best how this exciting form of publishing is done. While the goal is to produce mountains of new material for MAIN, its not all work and no play. There is plenty of socializing and the refreshment table always has a few gathered around it. By the end of the day, we have accomplished much and had a great time doing it. Below are some snap shots of the Web Raising event held on October 21, 1995.
