Bob Gaines is the TLA Librarian of the Year. While almost every single librarian in the state knows about TIF grants, few people are familiar with the critical work of the TIF Library Working Group. Bob Gaines, a member of the Working Group, has performed yeoman's work articulating the overall needs of Texas libraries and advocating a long-term vision for the growth of telecommunication services in libraries. He is a recognized expert in most all technology issues, such as Z39.50 and E-rate. We love you, Bob!
