FTP Account Documentation Page
If you have established an FTP account with MAIN, you can manage your web site content without any assistance/intervention by MAIN volunteers.

You must have FTP software. If you don't have FTP software, or need some documentation on using the software, go HERE.
Once you have an FTP account and FTP software, all you need to remember are the following:
- MAIN's FTP host address is: main.org
- You must enter your user ID and password to gain FTP access to your directory on MAIN. If you forget them, send Email and we will call you. We keep a record of every organization's FTP account password and user ID.
- Your FTP account will place you in your directory. You can not travel to any other directories on the MAIN server.
- Please do not try and install any executable programs. You are only allowed to place HTML, text and graphic files in your directory. If you have a question on this, ask us.
