BTW, The Amslers have been sworn in as Travis County Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars

If you have a teenager who will be 18 years of age on or before Election Day, November 2, 2004,

We would be happy to help with completing registration application.  In addition, if anyone has changed address since last election, we have the form that you can complete your new address.  Address change must be one month before election day or you will need to vote in the precinct of your former residence.  It is to your benefit to submit address change form early so that you can vote in the precinct where you currently reside.

Note:  If anyone objects to voting machines,

http://www.co.travis.tx.us/county_clerk/election/bymail.asp

Explains how folks over 65 (and others) can use a paper ballot if uncomfortable with the machines.

Travis County E-slate is secure for a number of reasons, but if you ask at the polls you will be furnished

a security information sheet.
