And did you know that Walnut creek was originally part of Gracy farms? Check out the following web sites expanding on Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park and it's history
One of the chores of authors of websites is to test dead links as from time to time sites become abandoned, or change Universal Resource Locator (URL Address). In the process of testing URL's, we thought that a reasonable exercise is to revise the site's map page. The site'a map is expected to show internal links for all pages on the the web site. Since copies of board minutes and newsletters are uploaded as a separate page, on sitemap page lists by Main Sections/Sub topics all of the pages related to NorthPark Estates web site. Rather than list all board minutes and newsletters individually, we have listed "History of Board Minutes" located at NorthPark Estates: Board Minutes and "Newsletters" located at North Park Links Page: Newsletters
In searching for Gracy Woods family or farm history we found some farm history as well as geological information about the area within Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park sites. Since this may be of interest to some living in North Park Estates, we thought that we would present these links on this page. The Walnut Creek trails may be sparsely maintained if the photos are any indication. Nevertheless we have a park just north of North Park Estates that sometimes is overlooked by the hikers. If you have any history or stories about Gracy Woods family and farm, please go to NorthPark Estates Forum and enlighten us curious folks.
