We are planning a little field trip on Saturday, February 28th 11am-noon at Ron Rigsby Park. It is at the bottom of Viking Street.
It is about one acre, has a creek on one side, and a picnic table. We can discuss what we would like to do to improve this lovely little "Pocket Park". Ellen Martin has contacted the people at COA Austin Parks Dept and the Austin Parks Foundation and will fill us in on what she has found out. Maybe one of the city people will join us. We can also discuss what we can plant in the Library barrels.
Let's hope we have nice weather for a walk-about. See you there.
