• Most likely taken at the "Sycamore Singing School" in Mahomet Texas sometime before 1904.
• Albert and Homer Stewart are sons of B.H. Stewart.
• B. H. Stewart and Columbus Stewart are brothers.
• Johnny Williams is a brother-in-law of Jim (W. L.'s grandmother Sophronia's half-brother).
• J. B. Williams and Hillry are nephews of Uncle Bob Millard and double cousins to each other.
• Ike Hall is Albert Stewart's father-in-law. Ike married Aunt Roxines sister Maggie.
• Homer Stewart is Hansford Williams' uncle.
• Thomas, Roland and Jim Williams are brothers.
