Membership Information
Becoming a member is easy. You fill out a simple application, which is given to you when you visit a meeting, and submit it to the club Secretary/Treasurer or the VP of Membership with your membership fees. Your ongoing membership dues are a little over $1 a week (you pay $35 every 6 months). There is a one time new member fee of $20 to pay for the materials furnished by Toastmasters International.
Once you join, you will start participating in the various speaking and meeting assignments. You start with the simple assignments first, and as you become familiar with the meetings and develop your communication skills, you move on to more challenging ones.
New members are assigned mentors to answer any questions and help them get started. For more information on becoming a member, contact our VP of Membership or our President. Their contact information is given on the officer list.
