Many neighbors braved the light rain for our first annual Independence Day Parade.

We started at Cupid & Stearns, then walked down each block, winding our way to the Monte Siesta Nursing Home. There we went through the halls, greeting residents, ending up in a meeting room where we all shared watermelon and soda.

The folks there really seemed to enjoy our visit. Young and old alike were on hand to enjoy the festivities.
