FTP Accounts at MAIN
Policies and procedures for setting up and using a
direct FTP access account at MAIN.
- A direct FTP access account allows your organization to manage its
own content on MAIN without any intervention by MAIN volunteers. It
does require that you have and understand
how to use FTP.

Each organization must have a single point of
contact for their FTP account.

It is important to keep your contact information
up to date with MAIN. If the contact information gets out of date
the FTP account will be turned off until corrections are made.

Your organization will have one (1) user ID
and password for anyone within your organization to use. We leave
it to each organization to make sure their ID and password does not
get into the wrong hands.
